Bug
Check out our new addition to the LTS fleet - a bug. It's a blast!
Pixel
The Pixel was designed by Bruce Kirby to be a light transitional dinghy for youth sailors learning to use jibs and spinnakers. It is 13’ 9” with a beam of 5’ 6”, self rescuing (sail away following a capsize) and is sailed with a crew of 2 or 3. For more information go to www.sailpixel.com.
The Optimist
The Optimist is 7’ 3” with a beam of 3’ 8” and quite simply, the dinghy in which the young people of the world learn to sail. Sailed all over 110 countries by over 150,000 young people, it is the only dinghy approved by the International Sailing Federation exclusively for sailors under 16. At the 2008 Olympics, over 85% of the medal winning boat skippers were former Optimist sailors. For more information go to www.optiworld.org.
Lido 14
The Lido 14 is a great little boat and an LTS base boat. It is one of the most successful crossover dinghies built. It can be actively raced or used as a stable day sailer. It is 14’ with a 6’ beam, with main and jib only for LTS use. It is sailed with a crew of 2, 3 or 4.
